[english] This is my bread dedicated to the World Bread Day. It is a simple bread made using the bread machine with durum wheat semolina.

Here is the recipe for the "Durum wheat semolina bread": 350 g water, 550 g durum wheat semolina (it's the wheat used for spaghetti and some other kinds of italian pasta), 12 g salt, 15 g baker’s yeast. Program: Standard (Basic, White bread, French bread or similar).

I would also dedicate a thought from Stefano Benni to this day.
The world is divided into:
  • Those who eat chocolate without bread.
  • Those who can't eat chocolate without accompanying it with bread.
  • Those who don't have chocolate.
  • Those who don't have bread.

Voici le pain que je dédie à la Journée Mondiale du pain. C'est un pain simple à la semoule de blé dur, fait à l'aide de la machine à pain.

Et voilà la recette du "pain au blé dur": 550 g. de semoule de blé dur, 350 g. d'eau, 12 g. de sel fin, 15 g.de levure de bière fraiche, programme standard.

De plus, je voudrais dédier à cette Journée une réflexion de Stefano Benni:
Le monde est composé de:
  • Ceux qui mangent du chocolat sans pain.
  • Ceux qui n'arrivent pas à manger du chocolat s'ils ne mangent pas de pain avec.
  • Ceux qui n'ont pas de chocolat.
  • Ceux qui n'ont pas de pain.

Questa è il mio pane dedicato alla giornata mondiale del pane. E' un pane semplice fatto con la macchina del pane usando semola di grano duro. Ecco la ricetta del "Pane di grano duro": 550 gr di semola di grano duro, 350 gr di acqua, 12 gr di sale fino, 15 gr di lievito di birra fresco, programma standard.

Vorrei inoltre dedicare a questa giornata un pensiero di Stefano Benni.
Il mondo si divide in:
  • Quelli che mangiano il cioccolato senza il pane.
  • Quelli che non riescono a mangiare il cioccolato se non mangiano anche il pane.
  • Quelli che non hanno il cioccolato.
  • Quelli che non hanno il pane.

Hi Zorra, thank you for organizing this event.
If you give a try to this recipe please consider, in case of problems with the bread machine, you can add water up to 400 g. since the durum wheat can absorbe a lot of water.
If you would appreciate a more salted bread, you can add salt up to 15 g., and even a bit more.
The taste of the durum wheat is stronger than the normal white wheat, especially with this recipe where there isn't Manitoba or other wheat types.
You can use the durum wheat you bought together with water to handmade pasta at home.
